Wow! I can’t believe it is already 2016! This New Year has already brought me some challenges. I hope to continue growing this blog and have a happy, healthy, wonderful NEW YEAR!
Every New Year we all create goals for ourselves that as the year goes on we tend to let fall to the side. We get off track and lose our footings. Being a full time employee, mother and wife I am guilty of letting life get in the way.
This year I have challenged myself to change some of my “bad” habits. For the New Year I want to be better prepared. I really want another child and in order for that to happen i have to change some things. So my goals for 2016 are:
- Eat Healthier- yeah yeah- we ALL say this!! My plan is to make one healthier choice with each meal. For instance, today at work a bunch of my co-workers ordered several wonderful greasy cheesy pizzas. Some with pepperoni and sausage–(mmmm mouth watering.. mmm) OK I’m done- BUT I opted out. Instead I had a Greek salad. We can’t change our mindsets in one day, so we have to make small changes. Steadily improving ourselves. There is an old saying about steady goes the course.
- Lose Weight- How will this happen?? By sticking to goal #1 of course! 🙂 Exercise will also help me achieve this goal.
- Grow This Blog! – I love to coupon and help people save money! I LOVE talking about saving money, cooking, DIY projects, coupons and everything that goes with being a Simple Hip Saver. I’m tired of saying I’m going to grow my blog. This year I’m going to make it happen! I’m going to write more posts, set up my social media pages and get my butt in high gear.
